Friendly and Experienced Instructors

We have experienced instructors on-site who teach a variety of disciplines, and if you do not have a horse of your own, we have lesson horses and ponies for riders of all experience levels. Hour-long and half-hour lessons are available for all ages, starting from lead-line lessons for young horse lovers, to show preparation lessons for more advanced riders. Adult riders are also welcome!

We host Schooling Shows at our facility to build students’ confidence and prepare them for the bigger arenas. Our instructors also take students to larger shows when riders are ready.

ARS Lessons using Lesson Horses

Private 1 hour with a Lesson Horse, $55.00

Private 1/2 hour with a Lesson Horse, $45.00

Group 1 hour with a Lesson Horse, $45.00

ARS Lessons using Your Own Horse

Private 1 hour with Your Own Horse, $50.00

Private 1/2 hour with Your Own Horse, $40. 00

Group 1 hour with Your Own Horse, $40.00

Lesson Program Attire:

Boots or shoes with a heel are required.

Certified riding helmets as outlined below

Long pants - jeans, breeches or tights are required.

Riding gloves are recommended

Certified riding helmets are required for riders under 18 years of age. Helmets are strongly recommended for everyone – adults choosing to ride without a helmet do so at their own risk. Rising Star has helmets available for students’ use.

Lesson Cancellation Policy:

If you are scheduled for a lesson and will not be able to make it, please call 303-431-4675 as soon as possible to reschedule. If you “no show” for a lesson, or give less than 24 hours notice, you will be charged the full amount of the lesson fee. Exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis for emergency or unusual circumstances.
